Magnanimous Muscat!

Muscat, The capital of Oman is known for it's unique Omani Culture, Wadis and Jabels (mountains), architect buildings, amazing foods and it's hygiene environment. Every time I visit here, it's a different Muscat I use to see before.

It is known to be The Top 9th city in the world (as of 2019) to develop in the shortest span of life.

One of my favorite places to visit in Oman is the Grand Mosque of Oman. It is one of the most beautiful mosques I have ever been to. Its architecture is praiseworthy and it's garden, so pleasent. The mosque has a dome, that holds a giant chandelier.
I think its the largest chandelier I've ever seen in my life. It is really a very peaceful place.

Muttrah is an area rich with Omani culture. If you really want to try on some Omani clothes, jewelry and accessories, Muttrah Souq is the perfect spot for it. They sell various kinds of Omani stuff there. Muttrah is located near the sea shore, so you can catch the sunrise and sunset here. It also has a fort here.

Further beside Muttrah is 'Old Muscat', which is famous for the Royal Palace of Oman, which belongs to the Sultan. It is believed that this palace has a direct connection to a submarine that travels The King directly from the palace to underwater.

If you are into industrialization world, then Sohar and Sur cities are famous for trade, business, factories and shipping. Ruwi High Street of Muscat is famous for shopping. There are various malls in the country. Oman recently(2019) opened The Middle-East's Largest Aquarium at 'Mall of Muscat' mall at Seeb city that is attracting tourists all over the world.

Nizwa, is another city which is known among tourists. 'Al Hoota Caves' is a famous tourist spot here. Blind fish is spotted at these Caves'. Nizwa also has it's historical Nizwa fort and two famous mountains 'Jabel Al Akhdar' (famous for trekking) and 'Jabel Al Shams' (famous for hiking). Trekking Al Akhdar was one of my memorable trekking because on that trekking, I saw the moon from one of the highest point, and it appeared soooo large; that too I got to see full moon (to it's fullest).

Salalah is a beautiful city located to the South of the country. It's greenary is well appreciated by whoever visits there, as the gulf is mostly desert and Sandy. The monsoon climate is the best time to visit such a place.... I visited A Reputed Tomb Of Islamic prophet named Nabi Imran. The grave was soooo long.

The Museum of Frankincense Land was so fascinating, as I got to see the ancient wall manuscripts carved out on rock walls.... I also got to experience an amazing Anti-Gravity Point in Magnetic Hill of Salalah where, when you park a car neutral and disengage it, it climbs the slope rather than driving downwards. It was such an interesting optical illusion, you should give it a go when you visit there.

Wadi Bani Khalid is probably my favorite spot to a perfect picnic. The Wadi's water was very cold, though the weather was hot when we visited. The area is filled with bees buzzing and surrounded by pebbles and large rocks all around. It's amazing!

Well, these are only some of the most of my experiences in Oman!!! You should have this country in your bucket list of goals.

Foods:
Old Muscat and Muttrah is best known for sea foods and grill meat. Grill meat is usually served with Qubus (bread), Hummus (kind of mayo) and some french fries while sea foods is served fried.
Oman is also famous for Mandi, a popular gulf food served with rice and meat.
Omani Halwa is an inviting dessert which is best sold in Barka city.
